Muhammad started his career in the Automotive Industry at the Automotive Leather Company, which manufactures seat covers for Mercedes Benz. As Head of Quality Engineering, he assisted in implementing ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001, and TS/16949 Standards.

He furthered his career at Hi-Tech Select on the Pebble Bed Modular React (PBMR) project in Pelindaba on Process Control Systems. At the Helium Testing Facility, he focused on Process Engineering with Facility Layout, Work Studies, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and analysing various energy performance indicators

The South African Quality Institute and Small Enterprise Development Agency – Science & Technology Programme, encouraged him to start a company to assist in training various ISO Standards in Africa and to also focus on implementing ISO Management Systems for small businesses around South Africa. WWISE was founded in 2009.

Through the implementation of numerous ISO Management Systems, Governance Frameworks, and National Standards, WWISE has assisted 620+ clients over the years. They currently have a 100% certification record and have trained over 26 000 delegates in 16+ different countries.

Muhammad is a registered Lead Auditor (IRCA|CQI) on ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001. He has Exemplar Global Registration on ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000, 22301, 20 000-1, 27001, 50001. He has SAATCA registration on ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and ISO/IEC 27001.

He is a Technical Committee Member for SABS on South African National Standards related to Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality, Information Security, Business Continuity, Energy, IT-Service Management, and Food Safety. Furthermore, Muhammad is a Halaal Certified Auditor with NIHT, and a Registered Certified Management Systems Auditor with PECB. He is also subcontracted by SABS, TUV Nord and Bureau Veritas.
